Skill Training Opportunities

The Government of Malaysia is currently placing a lot of emphasis in preparing a well trained workforce who are competent and capable of undertaking job opportunities in the market place. In this context numerous Government agencies are providing skill training opportunities at the certificate and diploma levels in a variety of areas.

At the low end are competency based skills training for those with very little formal education through Giat Mara and CIDB. For those with a Form 5 level education the certificate courses are available through the Industrial Training Institutes of the Human Resource Ministry and the Youth Training Institutes of the Ministry of Youths and Sports. Opportunities are also available at the diploma level for those with higher academic qualifications at the Form 5 level.

In addition to Government institutions, details are provided on the MIC’s educational wings, Maju Institute of Educational Development (MIED)’s TAFE College, Seremban’s MLVK courses.
